2009

I am very blessed this year. I just wanted to breeze through this year real quick. We got pregnant in January and Preston turned 2, February was James 32nd birthday,March not much happened. In April Ashlynn turned 5 and we went camping. in May I turned 29 and Ashlynn graduated from pre-school. Then we had a wonderful trip to Cali when we visited Terry and Mary and the kids got to meet Mickey. (Thanks again guys it sure was fun!!!) June, July and August we just did all the regular summer stuff like the pools parks carnivals parades fireworks and some camping and of coarse fishing. I didn't feel like doing much because I was getting huge prego but we still had a good summer. September 18th Addison was born. She is the sweetest baby and so very girlie. We are blessed to have her sweetness in our home. September 22nd we had our 8th anniversary. We didnt do much for that this year since Addi was born 4 days before. We stayed in the hospital for 3 days so we considered that our little hotel get away :) October was a hard month for us with James losing his job and a bit of devastation kicked in but through it all we had lots of support and help. We had a fun weekend with James Dad side of the family. We had a fun Halloween and the day after that we blessed Addison. November we kicked off with me having to get my gallbladder out, it was hard having two surgeries back to back but I'm good now that the horrible pain is gone. Then we went to Twin Falls for Thanksgiving. We had a great Dinner lots of yummy food and we visited with a lot of James family that live there. It's always good to see everyone. Dec 2nd James got a Job Yippy! He so far is really liking it. We had a great Christmas and we are grateful for everyone that helped us out this year. It was a good year but we are shooting for a better 2010! Happy New Year!

Me and all my glory

Here goes the story of the gallbladder attack. I think I have had GB problems since after I had Preston I would get really bad pains every once in a while. They were always few and far between so I never went to the doctor. Then I had a couple of the GB pains when I was pregnant with Addison, I actually had a real bad attack a week before she was born I called the hospital and they said just drink a lot of water and rest. That episode lasted 4 hours of constant pain but it went away. Then last Sunday night at 3 a.m. the GB pain was back it lasted all through the night. All I could do was feed the baby and try to find comfort in bed. Through Monday it subsided some but it never went away totally then it just got worse and worse through the whole night. I took some percocet that maybe help a little but by 6 a.m. I was calling my mom to come stay with the kids so James can take me to the E.R. We took Addi with us cause I'm her source of food and then we get there and kids 14 and younger could not go back in the E.R. So I am all alone now 30 hours of pain later. First they drew blood. It came back the my white blood cell count was real high and I was running a fever and I was taken to get an ultra sound and I seen her write stone on the screen. I'm waiting for the results and communicating with James via texting. Then the doctor comes in and told me I need to have my GB taken out I was in bad condition and he doesn't let people leave in my condition. Then the tears start flowing I'm all alone, keep in mind we have no health insurance I don't know what to do. I was in so much pain that they were giving me some stuff that was supposibly stronger than morphine and it still wasn't helping. Anyways they finally let Addi and James come back because no one was in the E.R. with the flu at the time. We were scared about every thing the surgery and how to pay for it. We do have the option for Cobra and possibly medicaid so I don't think we have to pay for every thing hopefully. The outcome of the surgery was a really bad infected full of puss GB and it had a stone. I had to stay two nights in the hospital cause I had to have IV antibiotics to clear up the infection.
Anyways poor Addison was banned from me for 2 nights and for a baby that has never has a bottle I'm sure she was devastated but she seem to do alright. When I got home all I did was hold her for two days straight making up for lost time. She had James up till 4 in the morning the first night but the second night she slept well. James had Brian( My cuz) over for help the second night and they watched Mr. Mom together. James did great with the kids.
Thanks to everybody that helped me with the kids and who visited me in the hospital and brought in dinners. We are very blessed to have great family and great friends in our lives. It was not hard or stressful for us to come up with help it was right at our doorstep and we are truly grateful for that.

Addison Michelle Lister

Here she is!! She was born 9-18-09 @ 7:57a.m. she weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. She is my smallest baby I was surprised. The c-section went way better than when I had Preston. I was numb this time. Addison had a little hard time breathing at first so they had to monitor her till she started breathing normal. The sad thing was I couldn't hold her or feed her for 7 hours after she was born. That was so hard for me. But at least she started breathing normal and she a healthy baby. James did great with everything and the kids seem to really love there new sister. She is absolutely a beautiful baby and we are so very blessed to have her in our family.

My baby boy

I can't say how lucky I am to have this little guy in my life. He has always been such a lovey boy. He melts my heart all the time. He loves to cuddle and love me. I can't believe he is getting so big and that he is being my big boy these days and not my baby. He will always be my baby boy though. He is talking a lot lately and he said a 7 word sentence the other day. He is a little chatter box anymore. He is so cute with my belly and loves and kisses his new sister to be. I don't know if he gets the whole things but he sure loves his new sister already. Anyways just thought I'd let everyone know I love this little guy and I hope he stays this sweet forever. I love you Preston.

Kindergarten Girl

Well it's official I have a Kindergartner! She seemed to really love her first day of class. She got the teacher that I wanted and afternoon class like I wanted. She looked so sweet and when I took her to line up with her class I stood around with all the parents smiling watching her class showing up taking some pics and so on wondering if she was going to be ok without me, after a while she just looked at me and said "go home mom". Well I guess she thinks she will be fine without me. I didn't even cry( I would cry reading over her school paperwork) I was surprised I didn't. Preston on the other hand cried and cried when we left Ashie there. He wanted his sister and the whole time she was gone he kept asking where Ash was. We went and got a treat and he felt better.

Catch up...

Has it really been since father's day since my last post? So what have we been up too let's see. Ash has been busy she went and stayed a week with her Grandma Vanda in Idaho. Preston was kind of lonely while she was gone but he got to go to the movies for the first time and to chuck e cheese and get one on one attention. We did some painting while she was gone and Preston sleep a lot when we painted so that was nice.

The next week was the fourth of July and we went to the big parade and to a bbq. at James Aunt Audine's after. We went to see the stadium of fire fire works that night with my parents. My cousin also hooked us up with a freezer and a computer chair and a few other things. Thanks Bri!

The next weekend we went to James dad's cabin for the night and the next day we went with Robert and Heidi boating and had a blast. We got to see a lot of family we don't get to see very often. Were always glad to see fam anytime we can. I didn't take any pictures of anything though. Shame on me but the top pic is the kids playing in dad's float tube. Adorable I would have to say! hehe

Time to fill in the blanks....

Just wanted to write a few things that we have done lately. Ashlynn graduated from pre-school the day before we went to California. I am so proud of her! I still can't believe she is going to kindergarten. She is growing up so fast. She is really smart and right now she is learning how to whistle! Ash also finished her first year of dance. She absolutely loves dancing. It's perfect for her. She is such a girly girl but when it's time to play with the boys she holds her own. Ash is kindergarten ready we went and got her shots(which she hated and cried) but she got a swimming pool for being so brave.
Preston is talking and talking. He has learned lots of new words. I love how he says his own name. We ask him to say ashlynn and it always comes out Ashie. He is 2 now so we get the whole throw your body down on the ground thing when he's not getting his way. We took his crib down and now he is on his big boy bed!! He calls it his baby boy bed. He is doing really well with the change. He still sits and cries for me to come get him even though he can come to me any time he wants. He is singing a lot lately it's so cute.
James has been working and working and fishing when he gets the chance. His job seems to be steady but they have done some lay offs and pay cuts which is scary but he heard there done doing lay offs and cuts. Cross your fingers this economy perks up.
As for me I am in my 25Th week of pregnancy! It seems to be going fast. I'm sure the last month will be slow though. I feel good still. Just barley starting to feel a little uncomfortable and big. Addison is starting to kick harder and I love it! James got to see her kick this week. He also felt her move last night. We are so excited for her arrival I got Ashies old clothes and went through them and found her old crib set and can't wait to get going on getting her stuff all ready for her arrival. Girl clothes are just cuter than boy clothes so I'm excited to use all that cute stuff again!!
So far this summer has been fun and the weather has been cool(which is fine by me). The kids started summer off with Disney land then Ash had a big sleep over with the cousins on my side of the fam. They've been to a birthday party, a kids art fair and last night we went to a parade. Next week the petting zoo!!

Thank You Terry and Mary!!!!!

We went to California to visit Terry and Mary this weekend. They were the best and spoiled us like crazy. We went to Disney Land!!! We ate at In and Out burger 3 times. We went to Tokyo Wako it was really good. We swam at there pool. We went site seeing around LA. and Hollywood. We went and seen some famous grave sites like Marilyn Monroe, Rodney Dangerfield, Walter Matthau, Jack Lemmon(grumpier old men) and many more. I'll post pics of those later. James went with his Brother Terry and Mom to a memorial service and said it was a neat experience. Terry was a super fun Uncle to Ashlynn and Preston.

Ash and Pres at Disney Land meeting the princesses!
Jasmine was Ashlynn's favorite there.

And Sleeping beauty was Preston's, he is so checking her out and he was totally flirting with her.

Can't go to Disney Land without a Pic with the big man!!!

Minnie Mouse

Chillin in the in there backyard was so fun and beautiful.

Aunt Mary helping save Preston's Life since Preston thought he was big enough to swim by himself we made sure after that he was secure.

Ash loved loved loved the pool I am almost wondering if she liked it more than D Land. She swam for hours and probably even more if we would of let her.

They had some cute monkeys and I added my cute monkeys and got this way cute pic.

We had so much fun this weekend!! We loved everything you guys did for us. Thanks for the great time. We loved every minute of it. It really meant a lot to us!!!!!
