It's been a while continued.....

James is super busy with work ,school,being dad and husband, scouts leader and takes on little side jobs. He is enjoying school. It's been tough since he hasn't gone to school for years but he is AWSOME and I'm proud of him for all the hard work he does for our family. For those who don't know James is going into the Firefighter/Paramedic field. I love him and appreciate him for his hard work. I don't tell him enough.
As for me just being a busy mom full-time and I am working at a salon part-time and at home I am working some too. I need a new job since I'm not making enough money. So if any one knows of any p/t night's or weekend jobs let me know.
We are having tough times right now making ends meet (I know a lot of people in this boat too). How do people do it now days????? grrr. Anyways I want to thank everyone who has helped us out. I can feel your prayers. We are blessed with love and support from our family and friends. We sure appreciate all the help we have been given in many ways. We WILL pay it forward someway somehow. Well thats a little info on us I will try to post more often and get some pics on here. I had to post 2 post so look down and see the first part of this post.

Its been a while....

Update on us...

I"ll start with Ashlynn, she is doing the best she has ever done in school right now. She is in dance and does really well. She loves to giggle and say's "just kidding" a lot.( I wonder where that came from.) She is very creative always drawing and making new things. She is so beautiful inside and out. She will turn 8 soon and be baptized!
Preston is my calm one. He is the peacemaker in the house. His pre-school teacher says he is ready for kindergarten already and he is very helpful to the other kids in class and is a very good example. He is funny. He loves to laugh. He cracks me up! I'm glad he's mine!
Addi Addi Addi gotta love that girl! She is one busy little bee. Hard to keep up with sometimes, but she is a curious 2 year old after all. She just got a new big girl bed and now in potty training mode yay! She is talking up a storm and she is a little singer. I love it when she holds a note!

Kids say the darndest things!

Preston: No no no no in a whimpering voice. I asked whats wrong he was so distraught and he finally said its Ashlynn..... I want a new sister.
-We were sitting on the couch looking out the front window and it was raining. He said mom the house is the ship and the road is the water. And then later we will take the submarine, as he pointed to the car.
-We were trying to pick up the house and told Ashlynn to help and she wouldn't then Preston in stern voice yells at Ash DO YOU LIKE LIVING IN A MESSY HOUSE?
-Then he was bickering with the friend from next door who was over at our house. And they both believed they were right next thing I hear. WELL IT'S MY HOUSE AND I'M THE BOSS!

Here's a much over due post

We have done so much lately. I just have been busy with work and working opposite shift from the hubby just have found no time to blog. I do have an extra day off from work now so hopefully I will post more often. I like blogging and writing down the cute stuff my kids do. Speaking of which here is Preston's(4) latest... He was singing The Itsy Bitsy Bpider to Addi and it came out The Itsy Bi*chy Spider. That happened a few days a go and I still can't stop cracking up about it.
Ashlynn(6) is a busy first grader and she does dance and hands down she is one of the best dancer in her class. Her school class is a different story she struggles a little but I think she will catch on fast. She has learned so much this year and I'm so proud of her.Ashlynn beats to her own drum that's for sure. Addison (1) is the sparkle of the family her sweet little spirit makes life great. She is almost 17 months old she is starting to talk a lot and she said Ashlynn and Preston's names for the first time last week. She has personality that's for sure. As for James he just had his 34th bday yesterday and we went to sizzler on Monday and last night I made him one of his favorite meals and he likes brownies instead of cake. The kids made him cards and gave him balloons. The we went out for ice cream. As for me just working and being mom and loving my family more everyday.

Kids say the darndest things

Ashlynn today asked me Mom do you know who's different than the whole wide world? I said no who? She said Jesus. So I said why Jesus? And she said well because President Obama is not the whole wide world Jesus is. Love that girl!

Preston comes up with funny things all day but one that stood out was so funny. He asked me while pointing to the back of his leg if that was his armpit on his leg hahaha he cracks me up!

And then Addi's new word is Twinkle Twinkle. (It doesn't sound like it but I know that's exactly what she is saying). She is such a busy body I can't keep up with her. She's got us all wrapped around her finger that's for sure!

Preston is in Preschool

This cute little guy started preschool. He loves it and he gets dressed for school at 8 o'clock and he doesn't even go till 1 o'clock. He get's too excited. He is such a fun little guy. I love him!

Ashlynn's First Day of 1st Grade

Ash really likes 1st grade. She has gone for a couple of weeks now and she always talks about lunch and recess. Hopefully she will find joy in learning things soon. She likes to ride the bus too. It was hard to send her to first grade. I'll admit I followed the bus to school just to make sure she got to class ok. It is hard letting her go into the world without holding her hand through it all. She seems to be having fun at school and likes her teacher so I'm glad for that.

#1 We were just sitting on the couch last night and he said mom Jesus works at the church huh?
#2 We were driving down the road today a he said mom Donald works at Mc Donalds..... not the duck. So I ask him the clown Donald and he said yep!
#3 Today I was listening to a church cd and he said is this a Jesus song.
I love this little guy his mind is so amazing to me. He has a fun personality these days. I can't enough of that Preston!!!!!

It's gone!!

Ashlynn lost her first tooth today. She is growing up to fast. Also this week she learned to ride her bike without training wheels. What an eventful summer for her so far. Way to go Ash. Dad and Mom love you and love watching you grow!

Weight loss

Ok so I'm going to try to blog about success and weight loss for me. I have a closet full of clothes I need to fit back into. I don't want to go buy fat clothes so I need to lose some weight. Any suggestions about weight loss or good tips would be great. Or any success stories I would love to here about. I'm a skinny girl trapped in a fat suit and Ive got to get rid of it. I'm not sure what my plan of attack is right now I just know I need to workout more and cut the fatty and sweet foods. Wish me luck!

Happy 6th Birthday Ashlynn!!

We had a fun birthday for Ashlynn. She had her first birthday party with girls this year. (she has Lot's of boy cousins and friends) So this year we invited all her girlfriends in the neighborhood. We had Pizza and played Pin the Purse in the Lady's Hand. Then we played Tinkerbell Bingo and we had a Pinata. Preston was the only boy but he had a ton of fun too. The girls kept giggling at him. Thanks to all of Ashlynn's friends who came she had a wonderful party.

I can't believe Ash is 6 already. I can't get enough of that girl. She is beautiful inside and out. She is a great friend, hard worker and very talented girl. She is sweet and sassy. We are truly blessed to have her sparkling personality light up our lives everyday. Love you Ashlynn!!

This is what we do on Friday nights......

Nothing beats staying home with the family. Ash is playing beauty shop with dad. This is one of Ashes favorite thing to do with dad. I love these two cuties.

We had fun getting dirty this weekend and catching some sun. The kids were really good all weekend! We love going camping and hope to do lots more this summer.

Happy Easter!!

We had a great Easter Morning. The Easter Bunny stopped by and the kids seemed pleased. We woke up to snow so good thing the Bunny didn't leave eggs outside for us to find. Speaking of the Easter Bunny, when I went outside last night after midnight to take some trash out I saw a white bunny hopping around(for real). Funny I think it was the real deal ;P haha. We invited my parents over for breakfast and visited for a bit. Then Dad hide some eggs for the kids to find.
